You Made Me See
Sometimes in our lives when were feeling down
When nothing good ever seems to come around
Feeling like our backs are pressed against a wall
Or on a high mountain cliff and about to fall
Then you called on the phone, talked an hour or2
How you needed a change, something stable & new
We spoke of life and how we came to be here
You pushed or were shoved as your heart drew near
Then you came to me as if in a dream
With wide open arms and eyes that gleamed
And as you smiled, I began to think
How life is so worthwhile, girl you made me see
Now the comfort is grand as I look in your eyes
Your soft flowing hair and a smile so bright
You make me feel complete, you ingnited my soul
Just the thought of you makes me feel so whole
(these are actually lyrics to one of my original songs.
