Is swinging what she wants?
Hi there. I'm in a dillema...on the verge of divorce, actually.
I'm a stable and dependable 25 year old man about to graduate
from college and move on to a very high paying job. My wife
and I have been together since high school. We've been married
for five years and we have a child. We've worked very hard
and made many sacrifices throughout our time together,
and now it seems like everything is coming together in the
best way. The problem is that for the past six months, my
wife has been behaving very uncharacterstically eg. staying
out all night, spending time at singles bars, lying about
where she's been, treating me with complete disdain. I'm
a very loyal and patient person, and up until recently,
I just wrote this off as a phase that young women must go through.
At this point, however it's becoming a concern. I love my
wife very much, and my primary concern in life is to maintain
my family. I lashed out at her last week, but she feels completely
justified in her behaviour. I guess I'm writing for advice. I'm not opposed to an open
marriage, but I don't really know how to approach it, or
if it even what she has in mind. My wife and I are both tall,
intelligent and attractive, I guess, and we've always
been well liked and respected. I'd particularly like to
hear from anyone who's been involved in similar situation,
and I'd really like some advice from women as to what might
be going on with her.
