Erruption
ERRUPTION
The ground trembled and smoke darkened the skies above.
Temperatures began to rise.
The atmosphere buckled from the heat.
Everything stopped for a moment, anticipating, wondering,
wanting.
There was a sound like no other, deafening but sweet.
The explosion shook the world around it.
The lava began to flow from ever orifice.
Nothing was able to stand up to the power.
Only time and cool water slowed the outward flow.
The inner flow went on forever
