“Jake, Lily is here.”
“I have a few things to finish up, please send her
in.”
“You can go right in Miss Garner.”
The door to Jake’s office slowly opened and while
he looked up he said,
“I just need to make one call, Lily, then I’ll
be…” Jake’s voice trailed off. Her

“Okay Mr. Tanner. See you in the morning.”
Jake hung up the phone and dropped his eyes to Lily who was

voice.

Jake replied as he took her hands and pulled her up from her
