saying no
Well, that happened a few years ago...
There was this girl in the chat room. Very pretty, very sweet,
nice body (pic), lovely smile. We chatted a few times and
she asked me to meet for a coffee. I accepted the invitation
and there we are, Sunday night, in a cafe near the sea, talking
face to face (boy, she was much prettier live and 3D).
I have to say that for 3 hours there was nothing erotic or
sexy in our conversation. We talked about different subjects
we had fun and that was all. When we were ready to leave I asked
her if she wanted me to drive her home or get a taxi for her.
I told her I could drive her a block away from home just in
case she didnt want to go home in a stranger's car. The
reply was lets go and we ll see.
We got in the car, I started the engine, and 15 seconds later
she said do you want us to go to a hotel ?...
Oh my God...
I stopped the car and looked at her.
Are you sure ? I asked. We just met.
You re sure you want to go to a hotel room with a stranger ?
Reply ? No !
She started to cry (yes, cry) saying what would be my oppinion
about her now, that I would think that she was doing that
all the time (having sex with strangers) and so many other
things (not polite) about herself.
I tried to calm her down saying that she s a very nice girl
and would love to make love with her, but not that way. I know
that many guys (or even girls) will think that I m a #$@*&#$
and I should drive to the nearest hotel and I probably would
if things were different.
I told her that it would be better
if we go out a few times first before we do it.
Thats how I felt thats what I said.
The next morning she called me and said that she didnt want
to see me again because I m shallow (how do you call it ? skin-deep
?) and immature.
My reply ? Yes I am. You re right. It was nice to meet
you. Bye
So......

I didnt tell her she was ugly, I didnt tell her she wasnt good
enough for me. I just said Lets get to know
each-other first.
Is it so bad ?
